No-Bake Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies with Nuts
These are the perfect treat when you're short on time and/or if you love savory-sweet desserts! Store bought shortbread brings this recipe together in 30 minutes.
- 1 package Kebler shortbread 20 cookies
- 1/2 container of chocolate shell see notes
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios or other nuts (or sprinkles)
Prepare chocolate in microwave or with the double boiler method.
Dip cookies one at a time in chocolate, coating only the bottom 1/3 of the cookie.
Shake off excess chocolate.
Dip the chocolate in the chopped nuts.
Set aside to dry; repeat with remaining cookies.
I use the Dolci Frutta chocolate shell, which does not need to be refrigerated and will not melt. If you use regular chocolate chips, you should probably refrigerate to avoid melting. Using this chocolate shell makes it much easier, though!
