Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings
The secret to these oven baked chicken wings is the baking powder! You bake at a low temp to start the crisping, toss them in the sauce, crank up the heat and finish cooking. In a little over an hour you'll have crispy wings so good you won't even miss the frying!

- 1 lb chicken wings patted dry
- 2 tsp baking powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 c buffalo sauce, plus more for serving
- blue or ranch dressing, for serving optional
- celery and carrot sticks, for serving optional
- 1 tbsp minced parsley, for garnish optional
Preheat oven to 200.
Line a baking sheet with foil. Place cooling rack on baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
Toss wings with baking powder, salt and pepper; place on prepared baking sheet (don't crowd your baking sheet!)
Bake for 30 minutes until wings begin to crisp; remove from oven.
Turn heat up to 400.
Toss wings in sauce of your choice.
Place wings back on the baking sheet and into the 400 degree oven. Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until wings reach 165 internal temperature.
Remove from oven, toss in more sauce if desired, serve hot.
