You can do this with any of your favorite fruit – we went for watermelon, cherries, blueberries and strawberries. I topped ours with a little honey and the Duxbury Saltworks Summer blend. (Remember that time I told you to put salt on your watermelon? You’re welcome.)
Now, Duxbury Saltworks was so kind as to send me some salt, but you guys know how serious I am about salt. I talk about it constantly. I have an entire shelf dedicated to salt. Well, now that I’ve been intro’d to Duxbury, ya girl is going to need an entire cabinet for salt.
Holy moly. The summer one has classic sea salt, lemon peel and basil. Yes, yes, yes. More yes. Their classic sea salt is spot on delish – such a nice amount of salt (umami?). And I love a good blend!
They have so many great seasonal blends – I’m eyeing the spring one for a cocktail I’ve been thinking about. More to come on that!
You can check out all of Duxbury Saltwork’s salts here (great gift idea, too!). Thanks to DS for sending me some of their amazing salts!
