Blackberry Croissant French Toast Bake Recipe
I want you to know that this is the greatest thing I’ve ever made. And now, this can be the greatest thing you ever make. This croissant bake is good, like, stupid good. Like oh-my-god-I-could-eat-it-every-day-but-then-my-jeans-would-never-fit-again, good.
First of all, it smells heavenly, from the oven, to the table, to every single bite. And then. Then you bite into it, and the top is crunchy and the inside is warm, and gooey, and bread pudding-like. It’s just. I mean. There really aren’t more words about this one. It’s just so freaking good.
The blackberries add such a divine extra to this – don’t skip them! You could substitute with blueberries, too. Maybe even strawberries. Or if we are really going to get crazy, substitute with a bunch of different berries!
I want to prepare you for one thing when it comes to this croissant bake – there will be no leftovers. So if you don’t like sharing, or were hoping to have some leftover, you’re going to need to double this recipe, split it into 2 baking dishes and hoard yourself a batch. Because, let me tell you friend, this is one you go back for not just seconds, but thirds, and fourths….
I made this, and it was gone in 10 minutes. Have I sold you on it enough? Add this to your grocery list and make it this weekend!
OK, one more…
Now go.
