halloween costume: the birds

today i was thinking about my favorite creepy movies to watch on halloween. i don’t really like movies that make me jump out of my seat or are really gory but i do like a little creep – like hitchcock creep. enter: the birds.
this gave me the idea of being melanie daniles, played by tippi hedren, from the birds this halloween. the great thing about this particular costume is i can pull most of it together with items i already own. it’s pretty simple – opt for a sweater that matches your pencil skirt, add a little netting, pop it into your hair with some fake birds all over your bad self and you are ready to go!
