Easter Ready Spring Table

Share:

With Spring’s arrival tomorrow (albeit dropping in on us with 4-5 inches of snow) and Easter just around the corner, I’ve started putting together our table and menu for the holiday.

Easter Ready Spring Table

I love making a table feel extra special for guests, and make them feel like we really gave some thought to entertaining them in our home. A few extra layers – and cloth napkins – can really up your game.

This Spring-Easter-Ready table came together when I found these chargers at Pier1. I love the rustic look, which gives the table some texture. I added my scalloped plates from West Elm, which are no longer available but I found a great alternative from Target here.

These misty-green-blue salad plates from Pier1 have a subtle distressing around the trim, which goes so nicely with the charger. Then I found these amazing placemats? chargers? from World Market. Unfortunately, they’re not online, but if you have a store near you, see if they have them! They’re so springy and I know I’ll use them again and again as the weather gets warmer.

These sweet napkin rings (also Pier1) were just too sweet to resist. Does it get more Easter than this?! They’re burlap, which I think really pulls the whole table together. I topped each setting with a simple white napkin, but you could certainly add a napkin with an interesting color or trim!

I got lucky on the glasses and found this blue tinted set at Home Goods. When it comes to glassware, I can’t be stopped.

The final touch, or even sometimes really the only touch you need, are some springy flowers. I picked up two bouquets of very (very) light pink peonies and a bunch of white ranunculus. There I go again with texture! I love flowers with a lot of texture! I used the green leaves from the peonies to fill out the arrangement, but be warned, if you take the same approach, the leaves do drop awfully fast! They’re really only good for one day, and quite sad looking after that!

This year’s Easter menu will start with our perfect Asparagus Tart, then feature an arugula salad with easy Lamb Lollipops, and end with our Lemon Loaf!
