Christmas Eve-Eve has become one of my absolute favorite holiday traditions. Each year, my cousins and I have made a point to get together for Christmas, especially since we don’t all end up in the same places for the holiday celebrations.
This year, Hubby and I will host the evening for the second time, which is always such a treat for us. When we were house hunting, it was so important to find a home that was welcoming and comfortable for entertaining. There’s something really special about getting to host around the holidays. The house is dressed up and magical and you open your doors to the people closest to you – it’s as if you and your home are just bursting with love.
We are also hosting Christmas Eve for the second year, so Christmas Eve-Eve will be a little more casual than last year. The menu will be easy and simple to make (stay tuned, I refuse to spoil it!) and enjoy. It’s my goal for the food to be such that you can walk around the house and eat easily.
This gray sweater from the LOFT and JBrand skinnies will be my go-to for the evening. I’ve been known to keep things super casual by just walking around barefoot. It drives Hubby crazy. I’ll never change.
