Baby’s First Easter Basket

Harper’s first Easter is going to be a strange one with this quarantine. I wasn’t going to do an Easter basket this year (she’s a newborn, so who’s going to open it?!). But as the holiday comes closer I started to feel like she needed – needed – an Easter basket. I guess I needed her to have one to find some kind of normal, and start our own traditions as a new family.

For Harper’s basket, I took the approach of “something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read.” I *tried* not to go crazy, which, let’s be honest is such a challenge with baby anything.

For the basket, I found this cute mother-daughter market basket set on Amazon. I also ordered a smaller, petite basket for her but this ended up being a great size to fit all of her Easter goodies. We’ll repurpose these totes for toys!

I can’t wait to put Harper in these Kate Quinn pajamas! These were actually the very first thing I bought when I found out we were pregnant. I couldn’t believe we’d have a baby so small! I love Kate Quinn – we have a whole bunch of pieces from her. They’re so so soft and the patterns are always changing.

So, Harper’s basket is full of lot’s of cute fun things!

  1. Basket set or this mini basket | 2. The cutest bunny tag! The one I bought is sold out but this, this and this are similar!| 3. Jelly Cat small bunny | 4. You’re My Little Honey Bunny Book | 5. Kate Quinn pajamas (I saw the bunny print pajamas today, you might be able to find the ivory bunny suit, too!) | 6. Itzy Ritzy Bitzy Biter (we love their pacifiers!) | 7. Ryan & Rose Cutie Pat Pink Pacifier | 8. Sequin Bunny Glasses (I couldn’t resist, but not like they’ll fit her!) | 9. A set of bows – I’m not into the really giant bows, so these are perfect! | 10. Bunny slippers

  1. Harper is sooooo lucky to have her creative mommy.
